St James Early Learning Center is seeking a motivated, nurturing individual to join our Infant team.
This individual must be comfortable working with infants and have the ability to multi-task while meeting the needs of more than one infant.
Individuals will help maintain the daily routines, playing and interacting with various ages of infants, assisting in lessons planned for the day, applying early childhood development theories in daily activities, diapering, helping with meals & bottles, cleaning, and maintaining a orderly room.
Individuals must have the ability to work and maintain a high standards of professional ethics with persons of different racial, ethnic, economic and social backgrounds.
Maintaining confidentiality of the families, children, and other center staff.
Salary based upon experience and education.
Job Requirements:
* A High School diploma or equivalent
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
* Pass all PA State Clearances-Police, FBI, Child Abuse & NSOR
* Experience in an early childhood environment is a plus, but not required
* Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA, recommended
