*Requirements (Education, Experience, Certification, Knowledge, Skill):*
* Pre-K - 4th Instructional 1 or 2 PA Teaching Certificate
*Position Responsibilities:*
* Plan and maintain, working with the Assistant Teacher, a developmentally appropriate, safe, and healthy classroom environment for the age group of children to which they are assigned in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards.
* Maintain interaction with children throughout the day.
* Complete classroom reports, required forms, and documentation within mandated timelines.
* Maintain and update children’s records.
* Notify supervisor immediately of any accidents/incidents relating to children, parents, or staff.
* Attend all mandated trainings and meetings.
* Conduct Home Visits and Parent Conferences as required.
* Develop an understanding of local, state, federal, and agency policies.
* Maintain mandated staff/child ratios at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.
