Job Description: Provides quick, courteous and accurate cashiering service to customers.
Adheres to all Casino service and operating standards.
Complies with all federal, state and local regulations.
Complies with PGCB and Internal Control rules and regulation Wagering Teller Responsibilities: Maintains and reconciles a cash drawer and secures cash, coupons, forms and other related inventory associated with cashiering duties for the cage.
Exchanges cash or coupons for customers in adherence with established procedures.
Cashes checks for customers in accordance with established procedures.
Prepares, issues and receives banks from employees of other departments.
Assists slot operations in preparing jackpot payouts for customers.
Evaluates the quality of service, provided by cashiering personnel, relative to Casino service and operating standards, providing immediate positive and constructive feedback to cashiering employees.
Handles customer complaints and solicits the support of management as needed.
Follows the respective duties and responsibilities of the position as delineated, listed and outlined in Internal Control Section 465a.

Performs all other duties as assigned, including, when necessary, the role of Pit Clerk.
Sports Wagering Responsibilities: Cash or sell sports wagering tickets.
Accurately maintains a bank and reconciles at the end of their shift for all transactions handled.
Verifies Winning tickets with supervisor / manager approval where necessary.
Acts as a point of contact for guests who have questions about sports wagering and bet placement.
Communicates with management of any issues or concerns they may be presented with.
Contacts management if there are any issues with equipment, wagering tickets, guest issues whenever necessary.
Gives exceptional customer service to all guests who are in the facility.
Wagering Supervisor Responsibilities: Motivates cashiering workforce to quickly, courteously and accurately service customers with their cashiering needs.
Ensures that all Casino, Casino Sports Wagering service and operating standards are consistently met.
Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
Monitors the quality of service provided by cashiering personnel relative to Casino and Casino Sports Wagering service and operating standards.
Oversees the daily operation of the cashiering function in all areas of the casino including the Casino Sports Wagering area.
Monitors issuance of slot jackpots.
Reviews and investigates overages and shortages.
Assists in preparing reports and other administrative tasks as assigned.
Manages all areas of responsibility effectively within budgetary guidelines by monitoring and controlling operational and payroll costs.
Trains Gaming Cashiers and evaluates performance of all direct reports, documenting both positive and constructive feedback relative to Casino service and operating standards.
Acts as a point of contact with the Table Games, Player Services and Cashiering departments Regularly analyze departmental Job Descriptions for relevance and effectiveness.
Cage Supervisor Responsibilities when assigned to Sports Wagering: Assist in answering questions or concerns about Sports Wagering when assigned to the Sportsbook pay out window.
Assist in training new gaming cashiers with procedures and process in Sportsbook cashiering.
Reports any concerns to upper management in regards to issues in the Sportsbook operation.
Responds to all guest concerns and questions about sports wagering and follows up when necessary.
When assigned in a supervisory capacity, the Dual Rate Cage Supervisor will monitor and supervise the Sportsbook cashiering operation.
The Dual Rate Cage Supervisor will be available to monitor transactions in the sports wagering area and report any issues or concerns immediately.
Assist with verification of winning tickets.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills: High School Diploma or G.
E.
D.
required.
At least 3 years of prior experience in a supervisory role or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of standard cage and internal control procedures preferred.
Must have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have strong math and money handling skills.
Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, stand, walk and carry weight for a full 8 hour shift.
Must be able to work all shifts and weekends/holidays as required.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and through written communications.
