This is a working supervisor position that must also perform the essential functions of a Telecommunicator.
Knowledge of the Pennsylvania Law enforcement computer terminal, Act 78-1990, TDD, JNET, EMD, MISSILE system, and CLEAN/NCIC are preferred.
Hours of Work: 7:00am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am depending on day or evening shift.
Working days will vary.
Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED.
A minimum of three years emergency service experience in a Public-Safety Answering Point (PSAP)
Demonstrate experience as a first responder by successfully passing test administered by the County.
Type at least 30 WPM with no more than 3 mistakes.
License(s) & Certifications (can be obtained after hire):
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate
CLEAN Operator Certificate
APCO Telecommunicator Training
Emergency Medical Dispatch Training
National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS100 and IS700
Complete PEMA and APCO Supervisory courses within 12 months
