The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an experienced, motivated Training Manager to our Elior North America team.
As a training manager, you will have the opportunity to assist with overseeing all culinary, safety and sanitation, and operations functions for the account.
Our ideal candidate has a passion for food, strong culinary knowledge and loves teaching! Training focuses on both FOH and BOH operations and includes but is not limited too; customer service, phone etiquette, culinary knowledge, including plate presentation.
This position requires a candidate with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
What you'll be doing:
Recruiting, training, and retaining a large staffing team, including chefs, cashiers, baristas, cooks, and catering teams.
Ensuring that the operation delivers high quality food and friendly service.
Ensuring that the business runs in a professional, efficient, and profitable manner.
Demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills with all employees.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role.
At least two years’ foodservice experience.
Proven track record of financial responsibility.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Nice-to-haves:
ServSafe Manager certification.
Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree.
