As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our team as the Manager of Team Operations and Project Management Assistant.
*Position Overview: * We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to take on the role of Manager of Team Operations and Project Management Assistant.
In this multifaceted position, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the daily operations of our company, including HR, insurance management, accounting, system implementation, data entry, organizational tasks, and administrative project management.
You will work closely with the President, Vice President, Director of Operations, and Director of Purchasing & Logistics to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our business.
*Responsibilities:* * Manage and oversee HR functions, including new hire paperwork, compliance, and employee engagement.
* Coordinate insurance management activities, including policy administration and claims processing.
* Assist with accounting tasks such as invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
* Support system implementation initiatives, including software upgrades and training.
* Handle data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain organized records.
* Assist with organizational tasks to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
* Collaborate with the leadership team to support project management activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of tasks.
* Provide administrative support to the President, Vice President, and Directors as needed.
*Requirements:* * Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (preferred but not required).
* 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the excavation or related industry.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Google Workspace and QuickBooks.
* Knowledge of HR practices and regulations, including employment laws and compliance requirements is a plus.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
