Kitchen Manager

*Responsibilities: * - Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, including food purchasing, preparation, cooking, plate presentation, portion, and cost control - Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met - Manage inventory and order supplies as needed - Develop and implement menu items and specials - Train and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance management - Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment *Requirements:* - Proven experience in kitchen management or as an assistant manager in a restaurant or catering setting - Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong leadership and communication skills - Experience in banquet or hospitality management is a plus - Ability to interview, hire, and train new kitchen staff - Knowledge of shift management and ability to create schedules _Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
