OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for assisting and supporting the Bank’s Consumer Regulatory Compliance and Community Reinvestment Act functions.
KEY REPONSIBILITIES:
Performs various compliance reviews including the execution of testing programs and the compilation of supporting documentation and required reporting;
Assists in the formulation and continual update of compliance policies and a comprehensive regulatory compliance programs to address the spirit of compliance and nondiscrimination;
Conducts and/or supports the Bank’s compliance-related endeavors related to compliance training, testing, reporting, and remediation efforts;
Assists in the communication to staff members about changes in compliance and regulatory laws and completing related accurate and timely information;
Assists with the review of applicable internal and external compliance-related communications and documents for adherence to regulatory requirements;
Assists in addressing consumer complaints and notices relating to compliance issues;
Assists the Compliance Officer with CRA compliance.
This includes gathering and analyzing documentation related to the CRA, assisting in the ongoing assessment of the CRA performance of the Bank, and assisting with the Bank’s CRA Committee;
Maintains knowledge of current federal, state and local regulations and laws affecting all Bank functions;
Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from other Bank personnel, customers: and
Assists with special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
A high school diploma or equivalent;
A thorough knowledge of applicable banking regulations - including experience in performing compliance reviews and reporting on the results;
Proficient reading, writing, grammatical, analytical, and organizational skills;
Proficient verbal and written communication skills;
Proficient interpersonal relationship; and
Moderate PC skills including familiarity with Microsoft office products.

degree in a related field;
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in related position:
Specialized bank compliance related training; and
CRCM certification.
