Job Summary
The Title Clerk position at Shively Motors is a full-time job in the auto industry in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
This individual contributor role is responsible for processing paperwork related to vehicle multiple title transfers, lien placements and releases, registrations, and vehicle verifications.

Responsibilities
Process vehicle titles and registrations for automobile sales and new car inventory
Ensure allocations between different programs, ordering incentive stickers, and weekly weight transfers
Ensure accuracy of customer and dealership data in all titling functions
Respond to customer inquiries and complete data entries
Verify buyers, odometer, and lien information in DMV databases
Research title discrepancies and problem solve customer title issues
Assist the business office in vehicle inventory control
Assist with new vehicle deliveries and pre-delivery inspections
Maintain constant communications with customers, finance institutions, and DMV personnel
Ensure title paperwork is discharged in a timely manner
Backup coverage for Cashier
Requirements
Monday-Friday required.
Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a title clerk in the automotive industry
Knowledge of DMV rules and regulations, titling workflows, and laws regarding automobile titles
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle high pressure situations
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Proficient in computer systems related to automobile titling
