I have an immediate need for an in-home credentailed 9th grade Honors Chemistry teacher in the outskirts of Chambersburg in-between Scotland and Woodstock; down the street from SpiriTrust Luterhan Home Care & Hospice.
The family is asking for a credentialed teacher, preferably credentialed in secondary science, to work with the student.
The student is in 9th grade.
He needs to work with a tutor for help with his Honors Chemistry class.
The student is currently failing the class and is falling more and more behind.
He needs a tutor who can work with him to help him fully grasp the subjects and provide help on homework assignments and test prep.
The goal is for the student to raise his grade to a B average before the end of the school year.
The family wants 1 hour sessions 3 times a week.
They are available Monday through Friday from 5:30pm-8pm as well as Saturday from 2pm-5pm.
*Job Requirements*
* Tutor must be willing to work in-person, face to face at the student's home in the outskirts of Chambersburg in-between Scotland and Woodstock; down the street from SpiriTrust Luterhan Home Care & Hospice.
* Tutor must be a credentialed teacher; preferably credentialed in secondary science.
* Tutor must be available for 1 hour sessions 3 times a week, any day Monday through Friday from 5:30pm-8pm as well as Saturday from 2pm-5pm.
* Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
* Due to insurance requirements applicants must not be a minor.
