*LOCATION:* Holiday Inn Express & Suites Gettysburg PA (IHG Branded Hotel)
*Job Overview*: Supervise and manage hotel departments and oversee hotel operations as directed.
Ensure the hotel is meeting performance metrics by both brand and management company.
*Reports to*: General Manager (GM) *Assistant General Manager Essential Tasks*: * Conduct self in accordance with As One Values and Mission, as well as all Brand Standards.
* Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with As One Core Mission & Values.
* Tour/visually inspect property on a daily basis, property condition, cleanliness, & quality of product.
* Monitor cost control and service throughout the hotel on a regular basis and raise issues to DOO * Assist General Manager in development of and revision to business plan, annual budget, financial reports and annual/monthly forecasts that clearly explain operations, trends and variances.
* In conjunction with a sales leader and direction of General Manager, assist sales as needed.
* Critically review reports of occupancy and revenue, partner with revenue management professionals to analyze trends and implement changes to maximize room revenue.
* Maintain positiverapport and communicate regularly with the public, staff, and corporate office.
* Oversee and ensure internal / brand audits standards are met at all times and ready for any inspection * Handle associate issues appropriately and in conjunction with HR following As One policies.
* Participate in community affairs and maintain a positive public image for the brand and hotel.
* Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed and proper emergency and security procedures are maintained.
Ensure all training is maintained.
* Ensure all employees are following training practices as required by As One and Brand.
* Attend corporate meetings as assigned.
As needed, attend sales trips & serve on committees.
* Monitor QA scores and/or guest feedback and communicate to and train associates accordingly.
* Gain expert level knowledge in brands PMS System, extranets & company software assigned.
* Create specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely action plans to drive culture of guest service and above average service scores and remedy guest service deficiencies.
* Oversee all departments and regularly meet with General Manager to ensure operations are smooth.
* Participate in the local associations to network with members of the neighborhood/community.
* Ensure all Brand, State required and As One training are completed by team and maintain records.

* Responsible for emergency hotel calls/staff coverage not covered by department management.
* Perform other duties as requested by management.
*Your Background and Skills* * CHA or Associates Degree in Business/Hospitality or relevant experience.
* Previous hotel or retail management experience required.
* RAMP Certifications, CPR/FIRST AID certification, Food Safety Certification preferred.
* Collaborative Problem Solver and Solution Orientated * Self Motivated & Positive Disposition * Math and Computer Literacy *Work Environment and Context* * Work schedule varies and may include working all shifts, holidays and weekends.
* Requires standing for extended periods of time, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, manual dexterity, kneeling or crouching.
